Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the elder child in a family of four. Since a young age, her dentist doctor parents as well as her teacher mom supported her love of theater and drama. It was this love which trumped her original desire to be the first primatologist. As a young woman the rise to fame was rapid and marked with the beginning of her success. Following her graduation and acting, she appeared on the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her acting career. Tautou was raised in the context of a Catholic family and attended church, even though she was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris. She pursued a career in modeling along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. An avid photographer, she has recently exhibited at the Arles International Festival that was titled Superficial. Her photographs concentrates on fame and the spotlight. The camera is turned at journalists, who sat and watched her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star after her international fame was established with her debut role as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie was a the box office and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies all over the world. It's the highest-grossing French film in America. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in a wide range of movies ranging from British dramatics like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood with Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
